We are a group of independent professionals who work under the brand of Scribalo. We share values and the philosophy of work, but, above all, we do share the wish to help small and medium-sized companies to engage potential clients to your brand through content.

I am Elizabeth Castillo, the initiator of the idea of Scribalo. When looking for options for change, I decided to combine my over 15 years of experience in research, communication and marketing, with my curiosity and passion for reading, writing and creating.

 

And here I am now, travelling the path of words. Taking advantage of my experience working for multinationals of telecommunications, consultancy, real estate and consumer goods, to help you in your path through contents.

The idea of Scribalo emerged from a process of transformation and change that began in Berlin and took shape in Madrid in 2018. It emerged from the observation of trends and the search for opportunities whose path included words, images and sounds.

 

Not an easy trial-and-error path, that, gradually, proved that being small required something else: focusing and specialising. Not everything can be done. It is important to know what to do. And that is how the passage of Scribalo through the path of contents and stories began.

The reason for Scribalo

Everything rests on the written word. Articles are full of them; videos and podcasts start with a script and images include implicit or explicit words. That is why we write words that turn into images, sounds, letters and symbols, but mainly, stories.

 

Scribalo is a play on words, a combination of Spanish and Latin words, writing, screening and Scribe.

 

It is based on the idea of a Scribe; whose job was to write out by hand what others wanted to communicate. We also sift and select the topics, audiences and channels.
